Buford Lee Duncan Buford Lee Duncan, 85 year old McCloud resident, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Oklahoma City. He was born on Monday, March 29, 1926 in Checotah to James and Nancy Allred Duncan. Buford grew up in the Texanna area where he received his education. He worked on the farm before joining the Navy. After his Honorable Discharge from the Navy, Buford began a career as a carpenter, working the Oklahoma City area all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and attended the Baptist Church. Buford was preceded in death by his parents; a son James Paul Duncan; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Emma of the home, Children, Linda Fee and her husband Jeff of Oklahoma City, LeAnn Dussalt of Bethany Acres, Toni Davis and her husband Doug, Debie Duncan and Vickie Landsdown and her husband Larry, all of McCloud. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, one sister, Wynema Nichols of Edmond, many nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Triplett Cemetery, with Reverend Tim Turner, officiating.
