Henrietta K. Gramlich Henrietta K. Gramlich, 90 year old former Checotah resident died Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Henrietta was born on Friday, September 30, 1921 in Newton County, Arkansas to Joseph and Emma (Reece) Kuydendall. She grew up in Harrison, Arkansas until the age of sixteen when she moved to Checotah. In 1939, Henrietta was eighteen years old, when she married Lester Gramlich, and became a homemaker. She loved to work with her hands; sewing, quilting, and cooking. Henrietta was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Checotah, being active in the ladies auxiliary and the Senior Citizens Center. She loved her family and especially her children. Henrietta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, Lester Gramlich, four sisters, and five brothers. She is lovingly survived by her children, Dorothy Moore and husband Bob of Tahlequah, Richard Gramlich and wife Pat of Midwest City, Ken Gramlich and wife Sandy of Newalla; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, other extended family and a lifetime of friends. Funeral services for Henrietta will be 10AM Saturday, January 7, 2012, First Freewill Baptist Church, Checotah, with Reverend Larry Montgomery officiating. Committal prayers and Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery under the personal direction of John Garrett.
