Naomi Lewis
1939 - 2012

Naomi Ruth Bledsoe Lewis, 72 year old Oklahoma City resident, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Naomi was born on Saturday, September 16, 1939 to Albert and Minnie Ruth Bledsoe of Checotah, Oklahoma and to this union 2 children were born, Naomi and Vicki. Naomi graduated from will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1957. She worked for many years in the banking community and Plumbers and Pipefitters Credit Union in the Oklahoma City area where she lived most of her life. Naomi Ruth accepted Christ as her Savior as a young girl of 9 years old at the First Baptist Church in Tulsa. She loved God's word, and has hoped in his promises throughout her life, especially during her long illness. Her family takes comfort knowing that she is no longer suffering, and is realizing those promises of rest with her Savior. She had three children: Sharalyn Parker Burge, Patricia Parker Boyett, and Bill Parker Jr., all of the Oklahoma City area. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Albert Bledsoe, and grandparents: Tom and Jessie Duncan, and James and Estella Bledsoe. She is survived by: her children and their spouses: Sharalyn Burge and her husband Steve, Patricia Boyett and her husband Dee, and Bill Parker and his wife Pam, and Howard Lee; her grandchildren; Michael Lee, Kristen Lee Atkinson and her husband Robert, Jessica Parker, David Martin, Beau Parker , Amy Hall, and Karol Weaver. Her great-grandchildren: Tristan Campbell, Tyler Hall, Emily Hall, Dylan and Dakota Barron, Kaden Martin, Addison Atkinson, and Macy Weaver. Her mother: Minnie Ruth Field; her sister: Vicki Day and her husband Larry; 2 nieces, Lori and Sara & one nephew, Matt; other extended family and a lifetime of friends.
