Willadean Hart Price
1934 - 2012

Willadean Hart Price, 77, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012, at her home in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Friday, February 2, 1934 in Checotah, Oklahoma where she grew up. She graduated high school in 1952 and worked as a telephone operator before meeting the love of her life, James Bob Price. They were married on Friday, June 12, 1953. Willadean had boundless energy and love for her family. She was the youngest daughter in a family of twelve children, and there was nothing more special to her than gatherings with family and friends. As well as being an exceptional cook and flower gardener, she owned and operated Willadean’s Beauty Shop in Coweta, OK. She was also very active in the First Christian Church and enjoyed volunteering at the Coweta Library and as an election judge. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Willadean is preceded in death by her parents George Washington and Ada Elizabeth Hart; her brothers, Billy Hart, Ted Hart, Alfred (Gene) Hart, Shelby Hart, Kenneth Hart, Randolph Hart; sisters, Ruby Dornan, Lillian Harting and Betty Jo Hart. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James Bob Price; daughters, Becky Price-Mayo and husband John of Nacagdoches, TX, Cindy Price of Austin, TX; son J.B. Price, Jr. and wife Jeannie of Dallas, TX; brothers, Dillis (Bobby) Hart and wife Beverly, George Hart Jr. of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren, Gracie, Alexandra, Katja, Eli; one great grandchild, Avery, numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and a lifetime of friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the Alzheimer’s Association,www.alz.org. Viewing for Willadean will be from Noon to 8:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2012, at Garrett Family Funeral Home with her family greeting friends 5PM to 7PM. Funeral services for Willadean will be 1PM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012, First Methodist Church, Checotah, with Reverend Wayne Loftin officiating. Committal prayers and Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery under the personal direction of John Garrett.
